Dear young pianists,
We invite you to the 2nd international music competition "Adriatic Accords 2018" in the discipline piano. The competition takes place the city Opatija in the concert hall Drago Gervais of the period 01.06. - 02.06.2018 in five competitive category and pre - category who does not compete. The year of the contestant's age is determined with the day of the beginning of the competition 1. June 2018th.
1. Program competition
Pre-category - 8 years and younger, free program up to 5 min. registration fee 35.eur.
I Category - 10 years and younger, free program up to 7 min. registration fee 50 eur.
II Category - 12 years and younger, free program up to 9 min. registration fee 50 eur
III Category - 15 years and younger, free program up to 12 min. registration fee 55 eur
IV Category - 18 years and ml, free program up to 15 min. with obligatory performance one sonata of D.Scarlatti, registration fee 60 eur.
V Category - 24 years and ml, free program up to 20 min. with obligatory performance one virtuoso concerto ethide (Chopin, Liszt, Rachmanjinov, Skrjab, Debussy, etc ...) registration fee 60 eur.
2. Awards
Youngest years (Pre-category) is not of a competitive character all contestants in the pre- category given a diploma and one contestant at the selection of the jury will perform at the final concert. In other five categories, three prizes are award for the first three competitors, and for the IV and the V place competitors get diplomas.In each category it is possible to divide more first, more second, more third prizes. In this case the winners equally share a certain amount of money prizes.

3. The application form must be written in the form of printed letters and sent to the below e-mail address to May 7, 2018. The contestants can also download the application form from the competition website.
On the application form must be the correct list of programs with the full name and surname of the composer and opus compositions with the exact duration of each compositions.
One month before the competition, the organizer sends a bank account for the payments of registration and accommodation for competitors from abroad.
The deadline for payment is 7 May 2018.
At the competition all competitors must bring the confirmation of paid registration fee and a photocopy of an official document (passport, identity card, birth certificate), which confirming the identity of the competitor.
4. All the competitors will perform their program from memory and repetition are not required. In the case of exceeding the prescribed time, the jury has the right to stop the candidates in the program. Awarded competitors are required to be present in the share of diplomas and cash prizes at the final concert otherwise they lose the right to a prize.
5. The organizer of the competition, as well as competitors who come with an escort from the distant corners of the Croatian and abroad, will be accommodated in Hotel Uvala Scott, near the bridge to the island of Krk. Organizer of the competition as well as competitors coming with escorts from the distant parts of Croatia and abroad, will be located at Hotel Uvala Scott, near the big bridge for the island of Krk.
